Priests have officially pulled back the curtain on their sophomore album. Titled The Seduction of Kansas, the album by the Washington, DC post-punk unit will arrive on April 5 via Sister Polygon Records.
The album marks the follow-up to the band's 2017 debut Nothing Feels Natural and hears the band teaming up with producer John Congleton.
In addition to Congleton, Priests also enlisted Marissa Nadler collaborator Janel Leppin and touring bassist Alexandra Tyson.
In a press release, Priests credit the sonic inspiration behind the album to records like Massive Attack's Mezzanine and Nine Inch Nails' The Downward Spiral.
The first song to arrive from the forthcoming LP is title track "The Seduction of Kansas," which comes complete with a music video. Check it out at the bottom of the page.
