Polo G and his brother, who raps under the name Trench Baby, have been arrested after their home in Chatsworth, CA, was subjected to a police raid yesterday (August 23) morning.

The LAPD detained the brothers following the raid, with Polo having been held "under the guise that the police department needs to double check that he is not a convicted felon as there was a purported firearm found in the home," his lawyer, Bradford Cohen, told TMZ. "He is not and never was a convicted felon."

The rapper born Taurus Bartlett was released on his own recognizance, while his brother (real name Taurean Bartlett) posted a bond of $100,000 USD. Shortly thereafter, they were reportedly arrested again, with Burbank police telling TMZ that the brothers had outstanding warrants for kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon and robbery from a report filed in April 2022.

They were released from Burbank jail early this morning on $100,000 bail each. "Formal charges are pending review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office," a spokesperson for Burbank PD told XXL. Polo's court date is currently listed as October 26.
