Pharoahe Monch

It’s been eons since Pharoahe Monch has actually released a solo album, but this show at a packed Opera House reminded all in attendance of his extensive and versatile catalogue. Pharoahe made sure he performed tracks from his various cameos, soundtrack and one-off appearances and had the crowd in a tizzy despite not exactly being the most animated performer. Though "Simon Says” threatened to cave in the Opera House floor and a thirsty crowd demanded an encore, it was noticeable that he had performed such an enjoyable show without dipping into any of his classic Organized Konfusion material.
