Such is the trust in Pop Montreals curatorial skills that this aged doo-wop group, known primarily for their affiliation with Frank Zappa, were able to both fill and enthral a decent-sized venue, with covers of mouldy oldies like "Under the Boardwalk as well as covers of Zappa and the Grateful Dead on top of their own poignant and political material. Old school showmanship never goes out of style.
