Paul McCartney to Release 'Live Kisses' Concert Film

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 18, 2012

Paul McCartney released his album Kisses on the Bottom earlier this year, and fans interested in hearing more of the Beatle legend's jazz-pop standards will get a chance later this year. On November 13, Eagle Rock Entertainment will release Live Kisses on DVD and Blu-ray, featuring live renditions of many of the album's songs.

Much like the studio album, Live Kisses features backing from Diana Krall and other respected jazz musicians. The session, which was captured at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles, previously streamed on iTunes and aired on PBS. If this is your first time watching the set, a press release promises an "intimate and charming performance."

The tracklist includes 12 of the album's 14 songs ("The Inch Worm" and "Only Our Hearts" are omitted), plus the deluxe edition cut "My One and Only Love." The DVD also includes between-song interviews will McCartney, Krall and others involved in the record.

Stream the live performances of "My Valentine," "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive" and "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter" below the tracklist. If you're suitably impressed, pre-order the DVD here and the Blu-ray here.

McCartney will be touring this fall and making a couple of rare Canadian appearances. See his schedule here.
