Pantha Du Prince

"Frau Im Mond, Sterne Laufen"

German electronic musician Hendrik Weber is returning to his Pantha Du Prince project for the first proper studio album under that moniker since 2010's Black Noise. The Triad will arrive later this month, but before the new LP arrives, Pantha Du Prince has unveiled a taste of what's to come with a track titled "Frau Im Mond, Sterne Laufen."

It follows previously shared album cut "The Winter Hymn" and hears Weber playing with twinkling synths, soothing washes of static-y reverb and gently pulsating beats. The musician has described the album as a response to modern technology-obsessed culture, that eschews online interaction and seeks to "cut through the digital dust that surrounds us."

The Triad is due out on May 20 through Rough Trade. Hear "Frau Im Mond, Sterne Laufen" in the player below.
