John Dwyer has managed to release a total of three albums as Osees — f.k.a. Thee Oh Sees/OCS/Oh Sees — in 2020. It looks as if 2021 won't be much different, as he's already got an album on the way from one of his projects next month.

As previously reported, the Witch Egg album is coming from a group that features Dwyer alongside Oh Sees/Osees members Nick Murray and Tom Dolas as well as Brad Caulkins and Greg Coates. Their music is described as an "improvised set of songs," and they'll release an album on January 22 via Castle Face.

Dwyer shared the following bio for the project:

Transmission incoming...
Alien sound waves have been bouncing off the side of our ship.
We've managed to capture some of them on plastic.
They appear suddenly out of the vacuum.
Projected by planets
Beamed through stars
Reflected off debris
Hanging in space like dust motes
Memories of planetary habitation.
