The third release in this excellent series is a case of an idea that is better in theory than it is in execution. The disc features two of the most popular, endearing and enduring American punk bands covering six of each other's songs without one knowing what the other had planned. They both do an admirable job but really don't mess with the formula too much. There's no denying the 12 songs are great, but they were great the first time around. And without any real reinterpreting of the material there really seems to be no point. You might as well just listen to the originals, unless you are a completist and have to own everything one or both of these bands puts out.
