Nicki Minaj has confirmed that she got married earlier this week.
The rapper posted on Instagram, declaring her new official name to be Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty — a nod to her new husband Kenneth Petty.
She also gave her followers a glimpse at newlywed life, posting a video of matching "Mr." and "Mrs." mugs, and "Bride" and "Groom" hats.
According to TMZ, the pair tied the knot in a private ceremony in Los Angeles on Monday (October 21), because the marriage licence they had previously obtained was about to expire.
Though the celebration was small, the couple is reportedly planning a church service and big reception at a later date.
