Former Queens of the Stone Age bassist/vocalist Nick Oliveri pretty well kept to himself during the preparation stages of his upcoming sophomore LP, Leave Me Alone, but the desert rock drifter is ready to let us hear the final results. Ahead of the October 28 due date through Schnitzel Records, you can check out the record online through a full-album stream.
Kicking off with the previously teased "Human Cannonball Explodes," the collection also features apparently brandy-drunk annihilators like "Come and You're Gone," gutter slime- and glitter-coated tracks like "Get Lost with Me," and the automaton doom riffery of "Rorbot Man," also featuring Motörhead's Phil Campbell.
While Oliveri performed the bulk of the set himself, Leave Me Alone features contributions from Dean Ween, Kyuss Lives! member Bruno Fevery and Dwarves leader Blag Dahlia, among others.
