Here It Is: A Tribute to Leonard Cohen is due October 14 via Blue Note, and features contributions from Sarah McLachlan (who does "Hallelujah," because obviously), Peter Gabriel, Iggy Pop, Mavis Staples, James Taylor, Norah Jones, David Gray, Nathaniel Rateliff, Bill Frisell and more. Earlier this year, a new Cohen anthology collection Hallelujah & Songs from His Albums was released following the sale of the Canadian laureate's song catalogue to Hipgnosis Song Management, which has also acquired a percentage of Neil Young's songwriting catalogue and the rights to material from Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, Jimmy Iovine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom DeLonge and more.
