A new Leonard Cohen anthology has been shared with the world today — a career-spanning collection of some of Cohen's most-loved songs, the 17-track Hallelujah & Songs from His Albums includes "Suzanne," "I'm Your Man," "Bird on a Wire," "In My Secret Life," and many more.

The record also includes a previously unreleased live performance of "Hallelujah" that Cohen performed at Glastonbury in 2008.

Available digitally today, Hallelujah & Songs from His Albums will be released on CD and LP this fall. It's a companion piece to the new Cohen documentary Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song, which will make its premiere at Tribeca Film Festival later this month. The film was also an official selection at the 2021 Venice Film Festival and 2021 Telluride Festival.

Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song features previously unseen archival materials from the Cohen Family Trust, including the songwriter's personal notebooks, journals and photographs, performance footage, and rare audio recordings and interviews.

Back in March of this year, it was revealed that Cohen's estate had sold his songwriting catalogue — that's about 278 songs — to Hipgnosis Songs Fund for an undisclosed sum. He's one of many artists who've sold the rights to their catalogues to Hipgnosis in recent years.
