The holidays have come early for Neil Young fans, now that the artist has announced plans to waive his monthly Neil Young Archives subscription fee for the rest of December.
Fans will now have access to Young's upcoming concert film Timeless Orpheum through his website, as well as his complete Fireside Sessions series and entire music catalogue — including his Archives Vol. II box set — all for free on NYA for the rest of the year.
"We are doing well here and feeling good," Young wrote in an Archives post. "We hope you are well, too. Our hearts go out to all those families touched. If you are locked down, we are here for you with hours of listening and cruising around through the years in movies. We want you to enjoy what we have to share at NYA… It's my music and our lives. Peace."
He continued in another post: "NYA is opening up for the holidays. With all the people who love music invited, we present over half a century of music and film to enjoy free."
It appears the rocker is in good spirits during the giving season, as he also recently dropped his lawsuit against his arch-nemesis, Donald Trump. Who knows what other jolly news he'll announce next.
