Neil Young and Joni Mitchell Live Recordings Unearthed
Live performance recordings by artists like Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have been discovered by archivists in Michigan.
The Michigan History Project recently unearthed a number of lost concert tapes that were recorded at the Canterbury House at the University of Michigan campus in the 1960s.
Among those performances were sets by Young and Mitchell, as well as recordings by Tim Buckley, Doc Watson and Odetta.

Officials from the non-profit organization noted that the concerts at Canterbury House typically took place on Friday and Saturday nights between 1965 and 1971.
The performances were captured on seven-inch reel-to-reel tapes, and the professional-quality recordings are now being shopped around to labels for possible release.
The tapes had previously surfaced in a private collection about six years ago, but disappeared and were presumed lost until a few weeks ago.
