Punctuality aside, Ms. Lauryn Hill and the Fugees have been enjoying their long-awaited reunion tour, which also celebrates the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. After previously postponing the Philadelphia show on doctor's orders, Hill has now announced that she needs to postpone the rest of the remaining shows on the tour until next year due to "serious vocal strain."

"I'd like to start this off by saying how much I've enjoyed being on the road, and how much I appreciate all of the fans who have come out to celebrate this incredible milestone anniversary and history making reunion with us. Being able to tour this album to sold out crowds after 25 years has been an emotional experience!" she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, featuring footage of her audibly struggling with hoarseness during a performance of "Ex-Factor."

Hill continued, "As many of you may know, I've been battling serious vocal strain for the past month. I made it through each show by taking prescribed prednisone, but this can be detrimental to the body when taken in large amounts over long periods of time," she explained, referring to a corticosteroid used to reduce inflammation. "In order to prevent any long term negative affect on my voice and my body, I need to take time off to allow for real vocal recovery so that I can discontinue the medication completely."

Aside from the once-rescheduled Philly show on November 25, remaining tour dates in Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Huntsville, Tampa, Miami and Boston will be pushed until 2024. "We're working on the new calendar now, and announcing soon," Hill assured fans. Read her full statement below.
