Modern English's upcoming North American tour celebrating the 40th anniversary of the band's beloved 1982 album After the Snow has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The trek was set to kick off in North America on in mid-June, with the U.K. band playing Vancouver on June 20. That will now no longer be the case.

Modern English are already working on rescheduling the shows, but so far the new dates have not been announced.

Mick Conroy from Modern English shared the following statement:

Modern English are sorry to say that the USA June/July 'After the Snow' tour has to be postponed due to the Coronavirus that is gripping the globe. We all need to take the utmost care of each other and especially support the medical staff and key workers who are striving to save us all. Please stay at home... The plan is to reconvene in September.
