It seems Mike Myers' beloved Wayne's World scene of rocking out to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" back in 1992 wasn't for nought, as he's now in talks to join the forthcoming Freddie Mercury biopic.

As Deadline reports, Myers is currently negotiating for a role in the Bryan Singer-directed Bohemian Rhapsody. It's currently unclear who Myers would play.

Rami Malek has been tapped to portray Queen's iconic frontman Freddie Mercury, while Ben Hardy, Joe Mazzello and Gwilym Lee will play drummer Roger Taylor, bassist John Deacon, and lead guitarist Brian May, respectively.

Myers has recently been playing Tommy Maitland as the host of ABC's reboot of The Gong Show.
