Mike Myers made an unexpected appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (May 2), debuting a new character that we're going to be seeing more of this summer.

Will Arnett is executive producing a reboot of 1970s amateur talent competition The Gong Show, and the upcoming series will be hosted by Mike Myers's latest comedic alter-ego, Tommy Maitland.

The new incarnation of The Gong Show will "celebrate unusually talented and unique performers" in front of a revolving panel of Hollywood judges. It is set to premiere on June 22 on ABC.

Myers made his television debut as Maitland on an Arnett-hosted segment of Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night, during which the two Toronto-born comics announced the new take on the classic game show.

Almost unrecognizable with his makeup and British accent, Myers introduced the new character by ragging on Arnett and making some rather lewd jokes. You can get acquainted with Maitland by watching the clip below.
