After releasing last year's French-sung Tu ne mourras pas, folk songwriter Maude Audet has returned with plans to release the English versions of her most noteworthy songs. The album, aptly titled Translations, will arrive on April 9 through Coeur de pirate's newly rebranded label Bravo Musique (f.k.a. Dare to Care).

Today, she shares two new reworks, "You're Shaken" (the English take on Tu ne mourras pas-opener "Tu trembleras encore") and "Laura Said" (previously titled "Laura" on the same record).

Along with input from Carole Facal for the album's English adaptations, the effort will also feature contributions by multi-instrumentalists Mathieu Charbonneau, Joseph Marchand, Eģmilie Proulx and Charles Blondeau, as well as flautist Anna Frances Meyer, cellist Marianne Houle, violist Julie Boivin, violinist Meģlanie Beģlair, Radwan Ghazi Moumneh and Seģbastien Blais-Montpetit.

Ahead of the record's release, you can listen to two of Audet's newest versions below.
