Though they aren't officially bandmates anymore, Matty (a.k.a. Matthew Tavares) and BADBADNOTGOOD sax man Leland Whitty have now announced plans to release a new collaborative album.

Today, the pair have shared new song "Blue," which Tavares revealed arrives ahead of a new full-length. As per Tavares's Instagram post, their yet-to-be-titled LP will touch down November 1.

"Blue" brings Tavares and Whitty together with bassist Julian Anderson-Bowes and drummer Matthew Chalmers. You can hear it in the players below.

Tavares confirmed his departure from BADBADNOTGOOD earlier this month. He had performed with the group intermittently after taking time away from the band's tour schedule in 2017 to "explore songwriting and studio creativity."

Tavares released his debut solo album Déjàvu as Matty last year. BADBADNOTGOOD last delivered their IV album in 2016.
