Over the weekend, both Phoebe Bridgers and Jenny Lewis shared new statements surrounding the Ryan Adams abuse scandal. Now his ex-wife Mandy Moore has opened up further on her allegedly toxic marriage with Adams.

While on Marc Maron's WTF podcast [via Pitchfork], Moore discussed the "unhealthy dynamic" between her and Adams, which she previously discussed in New York Times' explosive feature about Adams.

"I was living my life for him," Moore said on the podcast of her marriage with Adams from 2009 to 2016. "It [was] an entirely unhealthy dynamic. I had no sense of self... I felt like I was drowning. It was so untenable and unsustainable and it was so lonely. I was so sad. I was lonely with him."

According to Moore, she said she did not work full time due to an alleged dependency on the part of Adams.

Moore explained, "I would do little jobs. It's not like I completely stopped working. I would do things here or there, but it would become abundantly clear while I was working, things would completely fall apart at home. I couldn't do my job because there was a constant stream of trying to pay attention to this person who needed me and wouldn't let me do anything else."

Following her divorce from Adams in 2016, Moore now said she is ready to return to music with a new album (her last was 2009's Amanda Leigh. Speaking of the new songs, she said, "They're very personal. I mean, I feel like I've lived a life in the last 10 years. I have got plenty to say."

As previously reported, Adams' album Big Colors has been pulled from release. It was initially expected to arrive on April 19 via Blue Note Records/Capitol. Various music gear companies have also cut ties with the songwriter.

Adams has denied all allegations and no allegations have been proven in court.
