Filmed in concert at the 2004 Benicassim Festival, this 11-song performance showcases songs from Reed's entire career. Backed by a crack quartet of seasoned veterans, including bassist Fernando Saunders, the band approaches the material delicately yet with enough charisma to make things interesting. The early set trilogy of Velvet songs ("Venus in Furs," "Sweet Jane," "Jesus") satisfies the Spanish crowd, but the nearly 11-minute "Romeo Had Juliette" and a beautiful "Satellite of Love" make the show. The downside of the disc? Very little is offered in bonus material and the sound is only in stereo, not surround, but it's a fun set nonetheless. (Sanctuary/EMI)
