Sleaford Mods have shared a cover of the Pet Shop Boys classic "West End Girls," giving it their typical lad-like spin. It'll be released as a physical limited single on December 15th, with all proceeds going to homeless charity Shelter.
It's a banger of a cover, and Pet Shop Boys themselves remixed it for the B-side. "'West End Girls' is a song that's very close to my heart, my coming-of-age track in so many ways," said Sleaford Mods member Andrew Fearn.
Pet Shop Boys added, "Sleaford Mods have brought East End boys back to the West End streets for a great cause and we love their new version."
The cover follows last month's release of the band's More UK Grim EP, which was made concurrently with their record UK Grim that dropped in March.
