While Lil Uzi has yet to comment on his fresh new face, it is pretty clear that the rock has been missing for some time, after the rapper was spotted around Miami with the City Girls member JT and on recent Instagram posts without his precious adornment. Check out some of those shots below.
The Lil B-inspired $24 million USD gem made its first public appearance back in February, though photos on Uzi's Instagram conveniently conceal his upper face from mid-March onward. That leads us to believe that the rapper removed the piercing much earlier, but kept his look secret while the wound healed.
Whether the rock was removed on purpose, lost in a tragic accident or if his body naturally rejected it remains unclear. At least we know that Uzi had the jewellery insured in the event that it was lost or stolen.
