Canadian alt-pop icon Lights has returned with plans for a new album called PEP. Arriving on April 1 through Fueled by Ramen, the artist is previewing the highly anticipated effort today with new single "Salt and Vinegar."

"We're all products, we all market ourselves every single day," Lights said in a statement. "The idea behind PEP is if you're going to brand yourself, then brand yourself to happiness."

Last year, Lights released album cuts "Real Thing" and "Prodigal Daughter," and mapped out an extensive North American tour, which is due to kick off on April 3 and hit Toronto on May 7.

As she gears up for the Baby I'm Back Tour, it's clear is that she's making the most of her comeback: "My vision feels complete," Lights stated further, "and every single component comes from this very intense evolution I've experienced in my personal life over the last few years."
