In the wake of the racially, politically charged violence that happened in Ferguson, MO, earlier this month, more and more artists are releasing protest songs. Most recently, Lauryn Hill has shared a song sketch called "Black Rage."
The recording is a homemade "sketch" of a song that Hill has been performing live for a few years. On her SoundCloud, she wrote, "An old sketch of Black Rage, done in my living room. Strange, the course of things. Peace for MO."
