Laura Marling and Tunng's Mike Lindsay revealed their joint project LUMP with a self-titled album in 2018. Now they're back with a follow-up.
The new album is called Animal, and it was created in companion with Marling's last solo album Song for Our Daughter.
"LUMP is the repository for so many things that I've had in my mind and just don't fit anywhere in that way," she explained in a statement. "They don't have to totally make narrative sense, but weirdly they end up making narrative sense in some way."
Animal will arrive on July 30 via Partisan/Chrysalis. Watch a video for its title track below.
