Jazz-pop darling Laufey has announced that she’s re-releasing her 2023 Grammy-winning sophomore album Bewitched, expanded with new music.

Featuring four new original songs, Bewitched: The Goddess Edition comes out April 26 via AWAL and is now available to pre-order. Arrving today is lead single “Goddess," which the artist calls her “most honest song yet.”

“I wrote it alone at my piano after feeling like someone had fallen in love with the version of me they’d seen on stage, just to find that I wasn’t what they projected once I was off stage,” she explained in a release. “They deemed me to no longer be a shiny thing when the glamour wore off, reduced to skin and bone.”

Laufey wraps her otherworldly voice around lines like, "I'm a goddess on stage / Human when we're alone," painstaking with idol worship and loving the idea of someone rather than who they really are. Listen to the stirring piano ballad below.

Laufey is currently in the midst of a massive world tour. The North American leg will bring her to Canada for shows in Vancouver and Toronto this spring, and festival appearances in Ottawa and Montreal this summer.
