Korn and Slipknot's Corey Taylor Bring Nü Metal Back for Good on New Single

BY Josiah HughesPublished Sep 29, 2016

It's time to bust out the JNCOs and wallet chain, because nü metal is finally back. Korn have been dropping some solid down-tuned jammers from their forthcoming The Serenity of Suffering LP, and now they've upped the ante significantly by bringing Slipknot's Corey Taylor into the fold.

The two parties have come together on a new track called "A Different World," and it has all the makings of a nü metal classic. These include, of course, obscenely heavy guitars, bizarre chorus melodies and some loud-quiet-loud dynamics that'll freak out your parents.

Listen to "A Different World" below. The Serenity of Suffering arrives on October 12 via Roadrunner.
