Kirsten Dunst Asks Kanye West Why He Used Her Image in His Presidential Campaign Materials

The actress's photo appears alongside the image of Vogue's Anna Wintour

Earlier this week, presidential hopeful Kanye West tweeted a photo of new campaign materials, namely a poster that features about a dozen smiling faces alongside the slogan "Kanye 2020 Vision." One of those faces belongs to actress Kirsten Dunst — and now she wants to know why her image is being used.

"What's the message here, and why am I a part of it?" Dunst wrote in a reply to West's tweet, adding a shrugging emoji.

Dunst's image isn't the only one co-opted for the poster — Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's face appears in the material as well. Wintour has yet to respond to her inclusion, and West still hasn't explained why either woman's image was used.

Despite his campaign's messy beginnings, the rapper still appears to be running in this year's American election — even after missing the ballot registration deadline in several states.

Last week, Politico showed that he was polling at just 2 percent among registered voters.
