Though few people got the chance to see Kelis' 2014 performance at London's Metropolis Studios, an upcoming live LP will let followers hear the Food singer's set in the comfort of their own homes. Titled Kelis: Live From Metropolis Studios, the record arrives August 17 via Music on Vinyl.
The concert LP contains 11 songs from Kelis' March 3, 2014 performance at Metropolis. A press release notes that this was a particularly intimate set, performed in front of a crowd of 100. As you'll note via the tracklist down below, Kelis and her backup band performed a number of songs from her 2014 set Food, including "Friday Fish Fry," "Floyd" and "Biscuits n' Gravy."
The LP is being pressed up in a run of 1,000 copies on transparent green vinyl, which is housed in a gatefold sleeve. As depicted in the image above, the cover art repurposes Food's headshot of Kelis, though it uses a blue-green glaze instead of the original's orange-tinted filter.
