As lame as it sounds, this was undoubtedly the "feel-good show of the fest. With Al Tuck on before and Ramblin Jack Elliott after, the intimate stage at the Ukrainian Federation building was more than ready to hear Montreals beloved flame-haired songstress. Backed up by a variety of local luminaries, Moore ran through some of her own sweetly heart-breaking country-folk originals like "Getting Older and "Russian Nut, as well as playing some perfectly executed covers. Moore has, for my money, the greatest unsigned voice in Canadian music.
