Based out of Leeds, England, Kaiser Chiefs might not be instigating the same kind of riots as Lethal Bizzle, but this tune did an impressive number on the UK charts for a new band with very little profile. Tipped as the next big thing (but who isn’t?), Kaiser Chiefs tap into the ghosts of the Specials for a hint of ska to liven up their energised gutter-riding rock anthem about rioting in your town’s main strip. Containing one of the most deliciously wild choruses ever, it’s quite possible they played "Pow!" at the club they run in Leeds for inspiration, but nothing can be confirmed.
