The plaintiff said that Manson, real name Brian Warner, abused her throughout their relationship, which began in 2011. The suit cited Manson as having denied the plaintiff food, demanded "extremely frequent sex," and raped her, among other accusations.

The plaintiff had previously said that trauma-induced memory repression prevented her from reporting the assault earlier, thus missing the statute of limitations window. Her suit has not been completely blocked, however, as she's been given 20 days to amend the suit and file a new complaint.

Manson's disturbing and ongoing legal battles have been well documented; he's been sued by four separate women for rape, sexual assault, unlawful imprisonment, sexual battery, human trafficking, and a litany of other offences.

Accusations of abuse began in early 2021, after Evan Rachel Wood released a statement naming Manson as her alleged abuser. At the time, she wrote, "He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years. I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission."

Manson has denied all of the allegations lodged against him.
