Yesterday (June 19), Jneiro Jarel and DOOM premiered a new JJ DOOM tune titled "Bookhead," which the pair have now revealed will figure on an upcoming expanded edition of their 2012 debut, Key to the Kuffs.
Though a due date has yet to be delivered, NME reports that the new fangled Butter Version features two more new tracks not found on the initial pressing of Key to the Kuffs, including a Clams Casino collaboration called "Bookfiend." You can stream that wavy cut down below.
The expanded LP is also set to feature remixes from Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood ("Retarded Fren"), Beck ("Banished"), and TV on the Radio sonic mastermind Dave Sitek ("Rhymin' Slang").
Lex Records has yet to offer up all the details on the release, but the label will apparently opt out of the cash-grab route and serve up the exclusive portions of the Butter Version onto a new slab of wax, in case you've already grabbed the two-LP OG pressing of Key to the Kuffs.
