Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker's new band JARV IS… were set to release their debut album Beyond the Pale this week, but it was ultimately delayed due to the coronavirus. Today, they've shared a new song to help make up for it.
Beyond the Pale had been pushed to a September 4 release date via Rough Trade, but the album will now arrive on July 17. To celebrate, you can now listen to the new song "Save the Whale."
The new song is a vibey, five-minute affair that sees Cocker deliver plenty of spoken word atop some experimental instrumentation. It's paired with plenty of edited, animated images from recent JARV IS... concerts.
