You Can Finally Hear James Blake's 'The Colour in Anything'

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished May 5, 2016

Following the release of two singles and the appearance of mysterious murals in London and Brooklyn, James Blake has confirmed that his forthcoming album is indeed called The Colour in Anything. On top of that news, the LP will be released tonight (May 5) at the stroke of midnight GMT.

Blake confirmed the release on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show this afternoon, where he also played two new tracks from the record. "Radio Silence," which was initially the album's title, features heavy layering of synthesizers and emotive lyrics, while "I Need a Forest Fire" features Justin Vernon of Bon Iver. A third track, titled "My Willing Heart," has also been released through Blake himself.

Blake revealed that he split time recording the record in London and Rick Rubin's Shangri La Studios in Malibu.
