Jack White has devoted much of his professional life to digging up curios from the past — a Voice-O-Graph recording booth, rare blues records, etc. — so it makes perfect sense that he's a familiar face on American Pickers, History's reality show about Americana artifacts. Having appeared on an episode in 2012 (in which he bought a taxidermy elephant head), he is now appearing on another episode next week.
Next Wednesday (January 11), White will be the focus of an episode in which the American Pickers crew swing by Third Man Records in Nashville in order to revive his mobile recording truck.
"We want to bring it back to life," White says in the teaser. "We want to make it a studio on wheels again."
