Jack White has covered lots of classic blues and country songs over the years — but now he's taken on a more contemporary cut, as he's shared a cover of Jason Isbell's recent single "Death Wish."
The cover is currently exclusive to Instagram, where White shared a video of the song playing back on small Nagra SN reel-to-reel tape recorder. It's a simple acoustic performance — but it's nicely recorded, with some subtle reverb on the vocals.
Isbell responded to the cover, commenting with two fire emojis and two devil horns.
