This August will mark 50 years since the Stooges released their self-titled debut album, and frontman Iggy Pop will mark the occasion with the release of a new retrospective book. Titled 'Til Wrong Feels Right, the book is set to arrive September 26 through Viking Books.
The full-colour hardback book will compile complete lyrics for 100 songs from across Iggy Pop's career — both with the Stooges and as a solo artist — in addition to artwork, photos and reflections from Iggy and others.
A synopsis for the book reads as follows:
From fronting the legendary proto-punk band the Stooges to collaborating with an eclectic mix of artists including David Bowie, Debbie Harry, Jarvis Cocker, Death in Vegas, Underworld and Josh Homme, and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010, Iggy has proved himself to be one of music's most iconic, outrageous and enduring music artists.
'Til Wrong Feels Right is available for pre-order over here.
Earlier this year, Iggy Pop was revealed to be involved in the star-studded zombie comedy from Jim Jarmusch called The Dead Don't Die. The film is out on June 14 through Focus Features.
