Holy Fuck

Although their set wasn’t nearly as rambunctious as their drunken living room after-party later that night, Holy Fuck more than held their own on a bill that featured up and comers (Land of Talk) and local stars (Wintersleep). A rhythm section bolstered by Contrived bassist Mike Bigelow and Wintersleep’s Loel Campbell (maybe the most talented drummer in Eastern Canada) proved to be the best seen all festival. Meanwhile, multi-instrumentalists Brian Borcherdt and Graham Walsh brought the beats that had everyone in the smouldering, sold-out club dancing. It might have been too short of a performance, but on a night filled with rock acts, Holy Fuck brought some much needed rump shakin’.
