Following its Sundance premiere last year, St. Vincent and Carrie Brownstein's collaborative film The Nowhere Inn has been given a wider release date, along with a new trailer you can watch below.

Directed by Bill Benz, The Nowhere Inn stars Annie Clark and Brownstein starring as fictionalized versions of themselves in what an abstract calls "a metafictional account of two creative forces banding together to make a documentary about St. Vincent's music, touring life, and on-stage persona."

However, the two "quickly discover unpredictable forces lurking within subject and filmmaker that threaten to derail the friendship, the project, and the duo's creative lives."

The Nowhere Inn will officially arrive September 17.

St. Vincent is on the cover of Exclaim!'s June issue, out now on newsstands and available for home delivery across Canada. She released new album Daddy's Home earlier this month.

This month also saw Brownstein and Corin Tucker announce new Sleater-Kinney album Path of Wellness. The two previously found Exclaim! cover stardom of their own in 2019, behind the St. Vincent-produced The Center Won't Hold.
