The Halifax festival formerly known as OBEY Convention officially rebranded as EVERYSEEKER last month, and organizers have now shared a preliminary lineup for their first edition under the new name.

Set to take place June 18 to 21 in venues around Halifax, the event's 13th edition will feature the Sun Ra Arkestra, Marisa Anderson, Saint Abdullah, JOYFULTALK, Claire Rousay, Girl Circles, Michael R. Denny, LXVNDR, Marwa Helal and Bela Strings.

While more acts are set to be announced in the coming months, early bird festival passes and individual tickets for the Sun Ra Arkestra are now available

EVERYSEEKER's rebranding comes one year after clothing brand and street-art company OBEY Giant served festival organizers a a cease-and-desist, asking them to stop using the word "OBEY" as part of the event's public identity.

"The process of having to reimagine our identity has given us an opportunity to reflect on our past, filled to the brim with exciting, heady, inspiring, mysterious, and challenging moments," the festival wrote in a statement last month. "We've been dreaming big and planning carefully; taking stock of our successes, our shortcomings and — most crucially — how we can move forward with greater clarity, care and impact."

Last year's festival lineup included performances from Kelly MoranJustJohn & Dom Dias, 75 Dollar Bill, Guttersnipe, Laura Ortman, Cucina Povera, Strange Froots, DJ Haram, Eartheater, Tomoko Sauvage, Justice Yeldham, Mich Cota and more.
