Since society effectively shut down around a month ago, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has been cooped up working on song covers from his home studio. After taking on Johnny Thunders, the Bangles and Ritchie Cordell, he's moved on to legendary Bay Area punk group the Avengers.
As part of his ongoing "No Fun Mondays" series, Armstrong has delivered a cover of the Avengers' "Corpus Christi." In the caption accompanying the video, he writes, "This is one of my all time favourite songs by the legendary San Francisco band the Avengers."
