Ghost made their arena-sized ambition apparent earlier this year with Impera, and the Swedish outfit have now announced plans to bring their fifth studio effort to North America on tour.
Alongside Mastodon and Spiritbox, the Tobias Forge-led band will play 20 dates on the continent this August and September on the "Imperatour," with Carcass tapping in for a pair of US dates in Mastodon's stead.
Three dates on the tour come in Canada, beginning with a September 15 stop at Quebec City's Videotron Centre. The three bands will then move to Place Bell in Laval, QC, the following evening (September 16), ahead of playing Toronto's Coca Cola Coliseum on September 17.
Tickets for Ghost's North American tour go on sale to the public May 20 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express cardholders can access a pre-sale in select markets, running from May 18 at 12 p.m. local time through May 19 at 10 p.m. local time.
