There are tons of exciting new releases this week, but that doesn't mean there's any need to fret: we've done the heavy lifting and identified some highlights for you below. For more every week, be sure to check out Exclaim!'s Recently Reviewed section for all our recommendations on the latest albums.

Calgary's sister duo Tegan and Sara's flirtatious new album, Heartthrob, features synth-y, uptempo pop tunes that will make you want to dance, while Canuck emcee K-os returns with his ambitious double-album, BLack on BLonde.

Local Natives' Hummingbird snatched the Exclaim! Mark of Excellence this week. The new album is a solid follow-up to their debut album Gorilla Manor. Musical supergroup Tomahawk also earned the Exclaim! Mark of Excellence this week for their first rock album in a long time, Oddfellows.

Another Mark of Excellence has been awarded this week to Buke and Gase for their album General Dome, a shockingly diverse work considering they primarily used just two self-made instruments to produce it. Ducktails' The Flower Lane wouldn't be as satisfying without the featured supporting artists, despite frontman Matt Mondanile more time to his side-project than ever.
