A new week means new music, and lots of it. You might not be able to keep up with it all, so Exclaim! has gathered the most notable new releases this week. Below you will find some of this week's highlights to find out which ones will sit well in your ears and which won't.

First up is David Bowie, who has emerged with the metallic, hollowed-out The Next Day. There's no doubt been a ton of hype about the Thin White Duke's return, but does it pay off? Read our review and find out.

Also this week, rock'n'roll lifer Eric Clapton has released Old Sock, an album heavy on both covers and guests. And then there's Rachel Zeffira who earned an Exclaim! Mark of Excellence with an elegant clash of influences on The Deserters, while Ellen Allien develops beat-driven order from experimental uncertainty with LISm.

Finally, the soulful Lady have delivered their new self-titled effort, another album that earned Exclaim!'s Mark of Excellence this week.
