Fucked Up Announce North American Tour with Kurt Vile

BY Eric HillPublished Nov 26, 2009

Once again, Polaris Music Prize potty mouths Fucked Up are set to take their touring machine across North America. Things get going in February, when the band will join Matador label-mate Kurt Vile for a string of dates in the Central and Eastern U.S.

Announced dates start on February 12 in Oberlin, OH, and the band eventually will make their way back into Ontario - St. Catherines, to be exact - on February 23, when they'll play with UK punk rockers Leatherface. After that, the band promise some more Toronto appearances.

Right now, Fucked Up are in Jolly Old England, capping off 2009 with a few shows in the UK and Europe. On their blog, the band report, "The rain stopped as soon as we got here, and the sun came over here with us, as usual. Must have been all those record covers we put him on..."

Their European adventure will include stops at Holland's Le Guess Who Festival and Minehead, UK's All Tomorrows Parties. You can see all the UK and European dates here

As previously reported, Matador Records is set to release Fucked Up's new singles comp, Couple Tracks, on January 26. You can download "Neat Parts" over at Exclaim!'s Click Hear.
