From Twin Peaks remixes to Queen sample flips, Flying Lotus has been more active than usual when it comes to his SoundCloud page these past few days. Now, the producer has shared two additional songs through the platform.
The first, titled "North Star3," features frequent Lotus collaborators Thundercat and Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, in addition to Metalocalypse co-creator Brendon Small. The second, titled "You and Your Friends Are Dead," features only Small and Thundercat.
Both tracks include "You're Dead! THUNDERDETH LOTUS" in their titles, so it isn't a stretch to think that these could have come from the sessions for Lotus's 2014 disc You're Dead! All three of the aforementioned collaborators had a hand in creating that full-length.
