Flying Lotus put his own spin on the theme from Twin Peaks yesterday (May 15), and he's displayed some more sample prowess in a new track titled "Night Grows Pale."
The latest SoundCloud drop from the producer finds him flipping Queen's "White Queen (As It Began)," a song from their 1974 LP Queen II, into something incredibly cosmic.
Of course, Lotus's admiration for the band's late frontman Freddie Mercury is no secret, having immortalized the iconic rocker on the cover of his 2014 LP You're Dead! Some Freddie vocal samples can also be heard on the disc, if you listen carefully enough.
